To ensure we can provide meaningful and ethical assistance to your clients, please note the following:

We cannot commit to fundraising for emergency appointments or procedures that require payment in less than 5 full business days.
Fundraisers require planning, outreach, and community response time. As a very small and all volunteer organization, we simply cannot guarantee results in urgent or same-day cases.

💸 Fundraising Is Not Guaranteed

  • All fundraisers are voluntary and community-supported. We cannot promise that full costs will be covered.
  • If a campaign falls short, Pennies for PAWS is only responsible for the amount initially pledged at the time of agreement.
  • Funds may be paid directly to your clinic or reimbursed to the client upon presentation of a paid invoice (if pre-approved).

✅ Best Candidates for Assistance

We recommend referring clients for non-urgent appointments that are:

  • Scheduled at least 5 business days in advance
  • With a clear cost estimate or invoice
  • Related to treatable conditions or wellness care that aligns with our mission of preventing shelter surrender and suffering.

While we do accept texts and voicemails, because all of our volunteers also work full-time jobs, the best way for clients to contact us is by going to the contact page on our website, clicking on the “request assistance” link in our website menu. We also accept requests for assistance from clinic staff.
